CONCORDIA Canonum
dicitur Canonistis, cum in collectione et digestione Canonum, Canones diversorum Conciliorum unius tenoris et sententiae, sub uno titulo aut rubrica non digeruntur, sed citantur tantum, ut quis sciat esse concordantes (quem colligendi modum Breviationem Canonum, et ipsas collectiones Breviaria dixere Veteres) sed et cum verba concordantium Canonum ipsa recitantur: cuiusmodi collectionis exempla Mastricht ICtus exhibet. Gratianus Concordia discordantium Canonum suum opus inscripsit: eo quod, cum videret Ecclesiastica Decreta et Canones sibi invicem contrarios, diversos, dissentientes non raro, inter eos concordiam instituere sibi proposuit, etc. Vide gerh. von Mastricht, Histor.
